Image
With lighter evenings now upon us volunteers from the Association have been on site at Port St. Mary Station earlier this week continuing work on No.5 with focus being between the frames with a view to completing paintwork so that the boiler can be lifted.  As well as red gloss being applied to the inner frames, the opportunity was taken to gloss the connecting rods and front buffer beam. The next working party will be on SATURDAY 2nd APRIL from 10.00am to which all are welcome; another working group is planned for the evening of TUESDAY 5th APRIL and anyone wishing to help should contact granttaylor@manx.net.
