PAINTING & PONY TRUCK 5th NOVEMBER

Work continued on No.5 in the goods shed at Port St. Mary Station on Saturday 5th November with attention being turned to preparing the pony truck for painting so it can go back underneath the locomotive ahead of the boiler being reunited with the frames; other painting work has included the drivers' side water tanks, driving wheels, safety valve bonnet which are now largely in green undercoat.  Work will continue as time allows as the project takes shape. There is still plenty of painting to be carried out and if you would like to assist please contact granttaylor@manx.net
